The
horse riding centre of Calledro is situated in San
Liberato and is recommended for all those people who want
to combine a sport with their holidays in the various
facilities found in southern Umbria.
Competitions and tournaments are often held there on a
national level. The small centre is found at the very edge
of the commune of Narni and of the region of Umbria near
the region of Latium on the right bank of the river Nera.
It
is easy to see the square based watch tower which is fully
inserted inside the built-up area. A short way away the
Oasis of San Liberato, an artificial pool used for
hydroelectric purposes, interrupts the course of the Nera
river.
The
Calledro Sports association offers private and group
lessons with its own federal instructor on both horses
and ponies which are suitable for smaller children.
You can have snacks or drinks inside the hose riding
centre as well as play ping pong or enjoy nature while
going for lovely walks. There is a lot of space for children to play
inside the centre.
