4 ) Guided tour of the
Roman Aqueduct of Formina
(underground aqueduct) The tour is organised for
groups of at least 5 people (with a maximum of 10) on
Sundays and public holidays; minors who are at least 14
are allowed to go on the tour if they are accompanied by
adults. The course of the ancient
aqueduct from the period of the Roman Empire winds
underground for about 700 metres and the presence of
water is always reported.
The visitor will have to bring a flashlight, closed
shoes that will get wet, a spare pair of trousers and
socks to change into; the organisation will furnish the
protective helmet (not suitable for people who suffer
from claustrophobia).
The cost of the tour is normally 15 Euros; we are able
to offer you a 10% discount.The
tour service packages we offer our guests are run by
