La Loggia sul Nera or "terrace on the River Nera" is a 19th century stone–faced house overlooking the Valnerina, "Little Valley of the River Nera". Within walking distance (500 m) is the sports center featuring a swimming pool, tennis and soccer. Also within walking distance is the canoe and rafting center by the River Nera.

Nearby Activities: Mountain bikes - a 300 km mountain bike excursion along the River Nera natural park. A real paradise for amateurs. The starting point of the excursion is Arrone, along its riverbanks, right under the bridge. The excursion center in Arrone has large parking lot, camper service and picnic area with facilities.
Mountain climbing school in Ferentillo and Arrone: on the rocky faces of Arrone and Ferentillo (lovely little village not far from Arrone) mountain climbing is practised even at night. The mountain climbing school in Ferentillo organizes climbs for all experience levels - also equipped with an artificial mountain climbing face for practice.  
Canoeing and rafting: nearby resort rents out rubber dinghies and canoes to rush down the river rapids between Ferentillo-Arrone and a stretch of the Cascate delle Marmore, among Europe’s highest waterfalls. ”Soft” rafting is open to children and to less skilled swimmers. Steeper slopes for the more adventurous.
